ABOUT

Stuart’s experience in achieving organisational turnarounds, health building master planning and IT infrastructure together with commissioning health care facilities in Southeast Asia and Australia has been a feature of his 30 years as an area health service chief executive and health service planner.

Population health planning, country feasibility studies (Vietnam and Laos) and extensive experience in master planning has led to private companies seeking his expertise in commissioning private hospitals in his role as chief executive officer of hospitals in multiple countries in Southeast Asia. Stuart has solid master planning experience including design of a medical precinct in Vietnam for a specialist Oncology Hospital, aged care and rehabilitation services. Prior to his international work, Stuart was responsible for many projects following master planning development for healthcare across large area health services in NSW and redevelopment of Peter McCullum Cancer hospital.

Stuart is a qualified Exit Planner with the skills to assist private health care operators develop their business models for sale or identify assets for purchase. This is supported by his years of strategic planning and working with all levels of government, particularly in NSW.

Stuart has a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, Master of Health Planning, Diploma of Corporate Directors, is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors and recipient of the ACHSM Gold Medal for Australasia.
